The playing fields are an open space provided by Petersfield Town Council and are situated next to The Avenue Pavilion. This is an ideal location for families and groups to play games, or enjoy a picnic.
The tennis courts are available all year round. Adult & Junior online booking is available through our access booking system developed in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association and JG Tennis.
The courts are currently free of charge, but may be reviewed at any time by the Council. By booking the court, this will ensure that your court is available for you when you arrive and you can organise your game of tennis with family and friends.
The Avenue Pavilion playing fields has vehicular and pedestrian access. It also have a water supply available upon request. The sports equipment available for use is a basketball hoop and goal posts. There are 4 tennis courts available to hire. The field can be booked together with the Avenue Pavilion hall if additional facilities are required. There is a car park of 20 spaces.
The Petanque terrain is available to hire by the hour or on a 5 hourly basis (please see the current price list for hire costs). There is a professionally maintained area for croquet which is also available to hire by the hour or on a 5 hourly basis. Croquet equipment needs to be provided by the hirer. Use of the toilet is included with petanque and croquet hire.
Tennis court hire is free but to gain access you need to register where you will be given a keycode for the electronic gates.
