This is your chance to try your hand at a wide range of radio skills in a safe space and with the support of Shine Radio volunteers.

Read the news, record a voiceover, practice interviewing or try editing audio.

We’ll have live music at the event too, and our volunteers will explain everything you need to know about Shine Radio and how to get involved with making our community’s local radio service.

Whether you’d prefer to be on air or behind the scenes, there’s a role for you in our voluntary team and this event is a great opportunity to dip your toes in our radio water.

The event takes place on Saturday 14 September at Petersfield Festival Hall. Doors open at 10am and there’s no need to book.

This annual event offers advice and assistance on how to live with dementia and provides guidance, contacts, legal advice and more for people concerned about memory loss in themselves or in a loved one.
