Petersfield Town Council held an event to mark the 40^th anniversary of the end of the Falkland Islands conflict which reflects one of its Armed Forces Covenant promises:

Acknowledge and support military anniversaries to Commemorate or by Act of Remembrance as guided and advised by appropriate national organisations.  

PTC have installed a bench near the War Memorial which was dedicated on the 14^th June during a service of remembrance.
