Front Garden Tree Planting Initiative

Petersfield Town Council have partnered up with Hampshire Forest Partnership to offer Petersfield Residents FREE trees to plant in their front gardens.

Your tree will help enhance our local environment by cleaning and cooling the air, absorbing pollution, and supporting nature recovery.  Not only this but trees are beautiful, just being around them is calming and has been shown to reduce stress levels.

Trees available for adoption are small and large whips which will need planting straight after collection.  Your tree will need regular watering in the dry season for the first couple of years to ensure they survive and thrive to become climate champions.

The trees provided will be large whips (200-250cm) or smaller whips (60-90cm).  Suitable stakes and ties will also be provided.

There are a limited number of each variety of tree so we cannot guarantee you will receive the tree chosen.
