Following the huge success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be bringing A Musical Christmas back to Petersfield this year. A different collection of songs and performances, but matched with the familiarity of last years cosiness.

We are transforming the Festival Hall into a warm and magical environment full of festive cheer. A Musical Christmas is an immersive event, rather than just a show – audiences will be seated on a variety of different chairs and sofas, all grouped around small tables. It’s going to be cosy and enchanting!

Come along and cheer Robinson Crusoe and his Pompey friends as they take to the high seas in our wonderful, traditional family pantomime!

The festival is open to all Veterans, ex-service personnel, current serving personnel and their families and will provide a range of information stalls to highlight the support available from local voluntary organisations, through to national charities and military charities. There will be the opportunity to purchase light refreshment and all being well, some light entertainment also on offer.

Based on the classic story of Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story follows the forbidden love of Tony & Maria, who’s association with rival gangs, The Sharks and The Jets, results in catastrophic consequences. With some of the best-known songs in musical theatre, including “Maria”, “Tonight” and “America”, this is one of the all-time greats!

Based on the 1980s screen sensation which took the world by storm, Footloose sizzles with spirit, fun and the best in UK musical talent. Performed by the award winning Stage One Youth Theatre, you'll enjoy classic 80s hits including Holding Out for a Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For The Boy and of course the unforgettable title track Footloose.
